I am delighted to introduce 2 new members of the team.
Solicitor, Jess Harrison, has joined the firm to market and promote its fixed fee HR plan, Watertight HR, which gives businesses the protection of having a team of HR and employment experts behind them at all times, and which is creating a lot of interest amongst employers in Sheffield. Whilst Jess is not practising as a solicitor at the moment, she is well placed to help clients get the best out of Watertight HR with her previous employment law experience which includes advising on employment law for in-house training, hearings and tribunals, dealing with discipline and grievance, advocacy, mediation and negotiation. She has the additional advantage of completing undergraduate and postgraduate health service management training, specialising in HR, with the NHS, and has worked at a senior management level in HR, service management and training. Her marketing expertise has been honed in roles within the fast paced retail sector, health services, recruitment, advertising, promotion and events management. She particularly enjoys providing advice to charities in order to help them to achieve their goals.
Our new employment lawyer, Amelia Wheatstone, is a graduate of the University of Sheffield, where she studied law and criminology. Recently working in a graduate management trainee role at an international company, Amelia joined Bhayani HR & Employment law when deciding to return to law to fulfil her passion to help people through the legal complexities of life.
Amelia has quickly shone in her HR and employment law role, preparing employment contracts and policies, and supporting clients who are part of the firm’s Watertight HR plan.
Always keen to be involved and make a contribution in whatever she is doing, Amelia has been the secretary of the University of Sheffield’s Edward Bramley Law Society and human resources director at Sir Thomas Rich’s young enterprise company, Clockwork. She also volunteers at the Sunday Centre homeless shelter in Sheffield.
I am delighted that Jess and Amelia have joined the firm and that we are continuing to expand. I am really excited about the growth the firm is experiencing at the moment. Jess and Amelia are great additions to our team. Their legal and HR knowledge and experience are already being welcomed by businesses in Sheffield who are looking to ensure they don’t fall foul of the law. They are certain to make a huge contribution to the firm’s success.
