There are clearly concerns by business and individuals as to the impact of Brexit on workers’ rights. We as employment lawyers are watching with interest whether the legal landscape will change.
Since Britain voted to leave the EU in the referendum on the 23 June, there have been various headlines:
In her speech to the Conservative Party Conference the Prime Minister said, amongst other things, this:
“And let me be absolutely clear – existing workers’ legal rights will continue to be guaranteed in law, and they will be guaranteed as long as I am Prime Minister”.
