Our comprehensive Neurodiversity in the Workplace training programme is designed to equip HR professionals, managers, and team leaders with the knowledge and practical tools needed to support neurodivergent individuals effectively throughout their employment journey.

This interactive half-day course (4 hours) combines expert-led insight, discussion, and real-world examples to help organisations build inclusive workplaces that enable everyone to thrive. All delegates will also receive a workbook to support learning during the session and provide a valuable reference guide afterwards.

Course Content

Understanding Neurodiversity in the Workplace

  • Learn what neurodiversity means, explore a range of neurodivergent conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and more, and understand how these may present in the workplace.
  • Discover how to leverage the unique strengths of neurodivergent individuals to boost innovation and organisational performance.

Inclusive Recruitment and Retention Strategies

  • Understand the legal framework under the Equality Act 2010 and how to apply inclusive practices across recruitment, job design, and retention.
  • Explore how to develop meaningful EDI strategies that go beyond policy templates and create genuine inclusion.

Effective Onboarding and Continuous Development

  • Learn how to design onboarding processes that provide clarity, predictability and support from day one.
  • Build a culture of continuous development, mentorship and empowerment that enables all employees to succeed.

Management and Effective Communication

  • Gain practical tools for managers and HR teams to communicate effectively, lead with empathy, and foster open, supportive relationships across the organisation.
  • Develop strategies to manage resistance, implement reasonable adjustments, and embed neuroinclusion in leadership and culture.
