New Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy
Our HR team has been busy preparing a new policy for our clients. This is something you need to implement within your organisation. It draws upon existing policies that our Watertight Clients will have in place. The new policy sets out a framework for how employers should deal with mental health and wellbeing issues. The policy is free to our Watertight HR & Legal clients and a cost of £100 plus vat to others. It covers a number of matters including:
- Who is responsible for the policy
- What are mental health issues?
- Who can employees talk to?
- Mental Health First Aider
- Welfare meetings
- Support from line manager
- Sickness absence due to mental health
- Occupational Health
- Legal obligations
- Disability and Reasonable adjustments.
Mental Health First Aid Training
We are really pleased to have teamed up with Rotherham and Barnsley MIND to deliver a bespoke Mental Health First Aid Training course at our premises in Sheffield, or subject to numbers, at your place of work. Our unique course will include HR and Managers Resources to implement in your organisation, and a Mental Health and Wellbeing Policy. The course runs over 2 days on 30 April and 1 May and is priced at £300 plus vat for Watertight members and £315 plus vat for non-members. The course is accredited by Mental Health First Aid England and the Royal Society for Public Health.
