Contracts of Employment and Policies
Under S1 Employment Rights Act 1996, all employers (no matter what the size!) are legally required to provide employees with a written statement of the terms and conditions of their employment if they will be employed by you for over a month. This statement, which is often contained in a contract of employment, must be provided to employees within two months of them starting work for you.

In addition to this, employees must have access to written disciplinary and grievance procedures.
